On November 14, 2009 Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. Jimmy Choo took the town by storm last week, hosting not one but two parties, definitely not Jimmy Choo the man since he sold his name in 2001 but theJimmy Choo the British footwear brand and its glamorous president and founder, Tamara Mellon.
Mellon was first to recognize the power of the red carpet, setting up the brand’s first Academy Awards showroom for celebrities and stylists in 1999. In 2001, like the celebrities she dresses, has been tabloid bait since marrying the heir to the Mellon fortune but have since divorced. She has also worked with movie-turned-fashion mogul Harvey Weinstein on reviving the Halston brand.
There is much potential for pushing, shoving, hair pulling and possible bloodshed for H&M and must have took my cue from the last designer installment as they have also updated rules for the event. It is definitely because having the addition of incredible Jimmy Choo shoes and handbags make it more different.
